There’s a saying, "the stars have aligned," and for me 3 stars aligned that set me on the path to Health Insurance.
1) The first star starts in my twenties. I was paying over $300 a month for health insurance, yet still got stuck with unreasonable bills, like $200 for a simple x-ray after a soccer injury. I realized the system wasn’t built to protect people like me. Experiences like this constantly lingered in my mind.

2) The second star is my background in economics. I saw the bigger issue: healthcare wasn’t a free market. Prices were hidden, and everyday people without intricate knowledge of healthcare economics were left powerless, with vague hefty bills after routine services.

3) The third star is my entrepreneurial drive to help others. I’ve always loved organizing, problem-solving, and making things happen. With an MBA in Entrepreneurship, I’ve built on experiences from organizing weekend soccer meetups as a kid to working in real estate as a young adult. I'm always searching for ways to match my ambitions with meaningful impact.

Then I found private health insurance tailored for healthy people — and it all clicked.
